For the fall semester of my senior year, I completed MAE 451: Design Process and Methods as a part of my senior design project coursework. I was the project lead of a group of six MAE 451 students and four underclass students. Our project was on the design of a modular aerial drone meant to be utilized in various research experiments such as aerial flow field sensing and environmental sensing and designed through the use of Autodesk Fusion 360's Generative Design Workspace. MAE 451 showed me the design skills and methodologies necessary to successfully design a product or device.
